The CCST Fellows are top-level engineers, scientists, educators, analysts, and
technical experts who have earned distinction in their respective fields. Fellows participate in all
CCST projects and are available to provide expert advice to California state and local government,
the education sector and the federal government on science and technology issues of importance to
California.
Initiated with a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett
Foundation in 1997, the CCST Fellows program serves as a means of unlocking and leveraging
California's science and technology related expertise. As of 2008, there are 129 CCST Fellows that
have been appointed.
