Charles Harper is the executive chair and co-founder of Sierra Monolithics, Inc., a research and development electronics company specializing in the application of advanced superconducting and microelectronic technologies for communication, navigation, electronic warfare, and radar systems. Harper spent over 17 years in engineering and business management with Magnavox, Allied Signal, Mattel, and Lear Siegler. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, American Marketing Association, Econometric Society, NASA Minority Business Resource Advisory Council (MBRAC), and Integrated Media Systems Center, Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
