In 2005, CCST invited Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory,
Sandia National Laboratories/California, Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory,
and the NASA Ames Research Center to join as CCST affiliate members for an initial period of five years.
Expanding affiliates to include the Department of Energy (DOE) and NASA research centers has expanded the
resources CCST can provide in responding to its charge. Through this collaboration, laboratories are
provided a forum through which they can inform policymakers on issues that are both laboratory and
non-laboratory specific and that affect the health and vitality of the science and technology enterprise
in California.

New in 2007! Focal Point is a new publication series designed to highlight important technological contributions from
CCST's federal laboratory affiliates, exploring research areas and projects at each facility in detail.
Each succinct, 8-page issue highlights the roles of these facilities as vital catalysts for California's
high-tech sector. Learn more about the Focal Point series! |
